Yesterday Mary and I went to the Mothers' Union group of St. Mary's, Windermere, where we had been invited to speak about the Kasese Street Kids.
We were given a warm welcome, and showed them our most up-to-date PowerPoint presentation.
The group leader thanked us effusively and invited the ladies to make a contribution to our funds in the basket she had put on the table; and when the money was counted it came to £77 as well as the £10 towards our travel expenses in getting there.
Thank you, ladies!
We have another Mothers' Union engagement tomorrow, in Shap.
