This is Asinasi Musoki, aged 10
Her parents are dead, and she was found working as a “housegirl”, i.e. virtually a slave.
It proved impossible to find any family member to take responsibility
for supporting her at school, and her life style rendered her vulnerable to
disease.
She was invited to the SKILL Hostel and now attends Primary School.
(She is from a Seventh Day Adventist background.)
I try to pray for one child in the Hostel each day - I have a sheet in my Bible with their pictures and details. If we go back to Kasese in a year or two, and meet them, I wonder if I will recognise them and be able to greet them by name!
